Communication Problems and Gaps in Couples

What do you think is the most important thing in a relation between two people? If your answer is “communication” then yes you are right. Many people neglect this problem as it looks a very small one. But in the long run this problem will surely destroy your relationship and you can have a divorce or break up too.
Here communication includes both verbal and non-verbal communication. So, let us discuss some tips to improve communication between two people.

3 Tips to Fix Communication Gaps:

Communicate Frequently:

Yes, the first tip is that you should communicate frequently with each other. No matter if you are busy just spend some time together and discuss all the activities that happened today. This can hardly take 15 minutes and you can manage this time even in your busy routine.
Provide each other with good and positive gestures. Improve both verbal and non-verbal communication so you can have a strong relationship.

Share your Each Problem:

Husband and wife are made for each other. So, discuss each major and minor problem with your spouse. The discussion just means discussion, not a fight. Just discuss each and everything by remaining in your limits. Don’t hurt the sentiments of your partner. Here I mean that if you are discussing a problem you should choose the words very carefully.

Avoid Defensive Approach:

Our all problems remain there when you use a defensive approach. We all are humans and we do mistakes. So, always try to admit your mistake without being defensive. There is a case “when you want to save your marriage alone”. It happens when a husband or a wife use a defensive approach without listening to the proper arguments. It also happens when you think that you can never be wrong in any case.
